Vigilance / Compliance Executive / Product Complaints (Medical Device)

Our client is a well established UK manufacturing company supplying products and services for Cardiology, Radiology and Renal procedures in the UK and worldwide. The company is privately owned and operates from three sites at Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Uxbridge.


They are now looking for a Compliance Executive to provide a prompt investigation and analysis of all product / pharmacoviligance reports to address customer concerns, prompting the safe and effective use of their products in line with service delivery targets and standards for regulatory and quality system requirements. 


Within this role you will coordinate the handling of product complaints from receipt to completion ensuring ERP log is accurate and kept up to date whilst routinely monitoring and reviewing all complaints and where possible identify causes and suggestions for the corrective / preventative actions. You will coordinate the draft notices and implementing actions for product recalls and advisory notices. Keeping up-to-date with Pharmacovigilance Guidelines and Directives you will provide vigilance training and awareness for relevant members of staff.


Along with these duties you will understand and apply quality assurance procedures in line with ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 quality management system standards.


The successful candidate for this position will be of degree calibre with previous experience within the medical device industry. You will have working knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 coupled with experience of reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication skills are required for this role as you will need to build effective relationships within the business especially with Product Managers, Product Specialists, Sales Representatives, Customer Care and Finance. You will have a high attention to detail, computer literacy and problem solving skills. You will have the ability to plan and organise your workload effectively and work well as part of a team and from your own initiative.
