The Company

Venn Group are currently ranked the 28th fastest growing company in the UK (in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100) and are looking to recruit more consultants to continue our excellent growth. When it comes to the career we offer, we believe in promotion and expansion from within. We offer some of the best opportunities in the industry for you to work your way up to managing your own team - we would always prefer to promote one of our own than recruit our team leaders or managers from outside.

The Role

A career as a recruitment consultant at Venn Group is dynamic, fast paced and ultimately rewarding for new graduates. We are a market leading recruitment consultancy, working out of 10 offices at the moment (with more on the way very soon). The role of a recruitment consultant is essentially sales-focussed, and is geared to making a match between the staffing requirements of our clients and the candidates who look to us to help them with their job search. Our clients are in accountancy, financial services, legal, technology and the public sector.

The Requirements

The vast majority of Venn Group employees are recent graduates. We
don’t look for experience, because we give you full, comprehensive training: instead we look for people who are or have some (or all!) of the following:

Bright, down-to earth, excellent communication skills, ability to think on your feet, hungry for sales, hard working, a team player, tenacious, sociable, ability to react under pressure, assertive, loyal, comfortable with a target driven environment, prepared to hit the phones, commercially aware, passionate, professional and vibrant.

The Rewards

We offer all of our consultants a competitive salary package, 22 days holidays and free Bupa after a year,  a highly professional yet fun and supportive team-based working atmosphere, superb career prospects and first-class initial and ongoing training. All good reasons to join Venn Group! There are Venn Group offices – and opportunities to work – in Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Leicester, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Slough and Watford.

How to apply

To find out more about us and what the role entails, contact our Internal Recruiter, Marie O’Driscoll, who will talk you through it all. Meanwhile, we make a point of asking the graduates who have just started with us (people like you) why they joined and what they like about us. They said:

“I liked the structure of the company, and what it had achieved so far in such a short space of time. Plus they offered the best training by far from any recruitment agency. Exciting time to join!”

“The culture is work hard, play hard – everybody works really hard as a team so the success is everybody’s. The office banter keeps the atmosphere cheerful and helps build good relationships with colleagues”

“I love the team spirit, the work and the play. It’s great to work for a company that does so much training!”

“I love the team atmosphere and the openness of the company. From Day One, you’re kept involved in everything that’s going on”

“Your team almost becomes your family, minus the cooking & washing etc.”
