Unilever Graduate Training Scheme :- Information Management Function
NOTICE: This job has now expired and will not be accepting any more
What is Information Management?
Our business is built on innovative Information Management. ThatÆs because IT is a catalyst for change: it improves the way we work, provides smarter, more efficient systems, and delivers better business results. Our IM teams hold the key to this process. They create new technology solutions that meet an endless variety of business needs, working on a project basis across all functions and all activities.
The projects IM graduates undertake are as varied as our business itself. They include creating and implementing new communications tools, finding innovative ways to use, store and manage information, and maintaining our global technology infrastructure.
Join IM and youÆll be part internal business consultant, part IT project manager. Your brief will be to lead the process of identifying how technology can deliver improvements and then to manage its implementation, acting as the interface between internal clients and technical specialists.
ItÆs both varied and challenging: with each new project youÆll go through a sharp learning curve, quickly assimilating information about the function, its business needs, the requirements of the people within it, and the technology that can improve how it works.
These opportunities wonÆt suit those wanting to work as hands-on technical specialists. WeÆre looking for graduates with the tenacity to drive change, strong organisation and communication skills, and a passion for technology that delivers real business results. The confidence to lead others, influence at all levels and operate as a trusted business partner are all essential.
