Trainee Web Developer / Technical Support / Help Desk

Leeds, West Yorkshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Trainee Web Developer to join our IT department possessing the commercial experience in the skills listed below: 

  • Active Server Pages
  • XML
  • SQL Server / MSAccess
  • HTML / Javascript
  • Internet Information Services
  • Visual Interdev
  • Visual Basic (Creating ActiveX Objects / Database Applications / Web Applications)
  • .NET (would be advantageous but not essential) 

Knowledge of other Internet technologies may be beneficial but above all candidates must have a good understanding of web application development and usability issues. 

This role also requires basic knowledge of hardware / networking (TCP / IP) / application support (MS Office, printers etc..) This will only be fore internal Technical Support and will not be your main role. 

We are looking for a good communicator who can work independently as well as in a team. You will be a quick learner with a willingness to expand your current skills base and to keep up with the latest emerging technologies.
