We recruit IT professionals within the Financial Markets, mainly within the Investment Management and Investment Banking sectors.
Recruitment services include permanent, contract and executive search solutions to recruit mid to senior level Business Technologists; we recruit Business Analysts, Project Managers, Programme Managers, Development and Applications Support specialists.

New recruits undergo a training programme covering the Financial Markets, I.T and Recruitment Methodologies. This is structured to begin with but will quickly move into “on the job” training and shadowing members of the team.
The role is candidate focused and involves building relationships in specific candidate communities. This includes conducting telephone screenings, face to face interviews, testing, networking for referrals, market research and headhunting candidates. You will also be involved in briefing candidates for interviews, managing the feedback process and negotiating / closing offers leading to successful placements.
Resourcers run multiple projects from inception to completion, working closely with both Senior Consultants internally and with external clients. This will require strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of projects.
In summary, you will gain exposure to every stage of the recruitment lifecycle and the opportunity to progress into a Sales Consultant, Senior Research or Team Manager role.
Previous experience is not required but candidates must be bright, intelligent and able to pick up new concepts quickly. We are looking for graduates with a minimum 2:2 degree from a good university. Any previous experience or degree specialisation in business, IT, finance, HR or recruitment would be of interest.
Applicants must have superb communication and presentation skills, written and verbal. You will be required to communicate clearly and effectively both internally and with clients and candidates; you must therefore be confident, articulate and with an excellent telephone manner.
You will also have the ability to work well in a team environment; a sense of humour and an outgoing personality are vital. We prefer candidates with broad interests outside of work and specific hobbies about which they are passionate.

Cornwallis Elt believes in running a success based culture. As well as commission and monthly / annual incentives, you will receive a base salary above market rate and the opportunity to participate in benefit schemes as the company grows.
Your first year OTE will be £20k - £30k, your second year OTE £30k – 60k and you will have £six figure earning potential thereafter. Commission schemes and bonuses are uncapped.
