Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Sales and Marketing
Basic c. £20k, OTE £40k
Based London

The Person:
In order to be successful in this role you need to be bright with a good degree and well-rounded schooling. You are gregarious, full of energy and set yourself ambitious personal goals, always looking for that point of differentiation that will allow you to offer a service based on integrity, honesty and results. Our client will reward all this with an excellent basic salary, car/car allowance, private medical cover, life insurance, pension and a generous open-ended profit share scheme and promotion to management based on ability and not time served.

The Company:
Established in 1994, our client is a professional, fast-growing, ambitious and esteemed recruiter of Sales and Marketing professionals. Based in London’s prestigious Knightsbridge, our client over the last twelve months has appointed over 1000 candidates, ranging from Asset Managers through to Sales & Marketing Directors, with over 80% of their appointments being with the top 200 brands in the UK. Our client has been the largest advertiser of marketing jobs in the trade press for the last three years with an average of almost five pages every week. Having 40 consultants who exclusively handle permanent marketing, communication and sales opportunities, they each specialise by sector allowing a truly consultative approach.

The Role:
Few careers offer the same variety, dynamism and daily mental stimulation as recruitment. It is an environment where you make more decisions in one day than you would make in most other businesses in a week and they will almost always be life-changing for somebody. You could be discussing the next move for a young and ambitious Marketing Controller or trying to identify suitable candidates to lead the NPD programme for one of the UK's top FMCG organisations. Those are hefty responsibilities and ones that our client takes very seriously.
Successful candidates will end up working closely with FTSE 100 companies and other owners of the UK's highest profile brands and will play a fundamental role in shaping their success by appointing high calibre professionals into their management structure. If you have reached a point where your current career per se no longer enthrals you as it once did and you are looking for something else to re-ignite your passion, why not apply for this role??
This role will provide you with industry leading training and personal development in a professional, fast-growing, ambitious business. This role also offers high reward and an environment where people enjoy what they do!
