Where do you come in?

You will begin your career at Discovery Graduates as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. This role will give you the grounding needed to become a successful recruitment professional.

Your initial role will be focused on supporting the recruitment team through proactive resourcing and working closely with the consultant to deliver on live accounts.  This role will include: proactively searching for top graduate talent; responding to job applications; conducting competency based telephone interviews; organising assessment centres; analysing the success of campaigns and creating proactive solutions to improve results; spotting opportunities for the sales team; and supporting the sales team to maximise effectiveness.

As part of a structured appraisal system you will be offered regular opportunities for development, feedback, and progression into a Consultant position.

What you need to demonstrate?

This is a varied role requiring dedication, commitment and the ambition to progress into a professional sales role within the graduate recruitment sector. You must have the ability to analyse factual information and to assess interpersonal skills to identify the best graduates for our clients.

You must be a clear and effective communicator with the ability to make a strong impression on both clients and candidates alike. The ability to listen and ask probing intelligent questions is important.

We are looking for someone with a commercial focus. This is a sales position and to be successful you must: have a positive attitude; you must be focused and achieve personal goals; and you must have the determination to be successful.
