Trainee Financial Dealer, Client Services Representative and Business Manager

Europe and more recently in USA and Japan. The UK operation is regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

The Opportunities

We currently have a number of graduate-level entry roles which we are looking to fill, including :

• Trainee Financial Dealer - successful candidates will join the dealing desk offering financial spread betting and contracts for difference. You will be offered extensive training covering all aspects of our financial dealing and financial sales operations. You will be required to take and successfully pass the Securities Institute Regulatory Paper.  Upon successful completion of your training, you will be offered a permanent position within one of the Financial Dealing or Financial Sales teams and so prior sales experience and/or strong interpersonal skills would be an advantage.
• Client Services Representative - this is an opportunity for you join our Client Services team, learn all our client systems and hone your interpersonal skills. This will suit individuals who enjoy client contact, have some experience of dealing with high volume client contact, especially on the telephone and enjoy pro-active problem resolution. We see this as an entry level opportunity for an individual who wants to learn about our business and then progress their career in other parts of this exciting and expanding company.
• Business Manager – once you have completed an initial training period within both of the above areas, you may be appointed as a Business Manager with the main aim of facilitating change and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. To be successful in this role, you will need to be exceptionally organised and take personal responsibility to deliver desired outcomes. Prior related experience would be an advantage.

The Suitable Candidates

You will need at least 3 A levels at grade “B” or above and ideally have a 2.1 degree or above.  You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are highly numerate, IT literate and have a real interest in betting and/or financial markets. Ideally, especially for the Trainee Financial dealing role, you will have taken a gap year and/or have 1 to 2 years’ postgraduate experience. As we are rapidly expanding our operations into continental Europe, fluency in Italian, Spanish, French or German, though not a requirement, would be a distinct advantage. Equally Portuguese and Mandarin would be useful languages to have. You will need to be able to work effectively under pressure and be prepared to work unconventional hours with an underlying enthusiasm to serve our clients. Candidates will be self-confident with a friendly out-going manner and the ability to work as an effective team-member.

All positions are subject to a six-month initial training / probationary period.
