Due to our client’s increasing workload, they are looking for an ambitious and talented Trade Marketeer or Marketing Executive to play a central role in realising their market ambitions within the Wholesale Channel for Professional Lighting.
Reporting directly to the Divisional Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in defining the strategic direction of marketing, through partnering with the Wholesale Channel Sales Team and key customers. Day to day responsibilities will include deployment and implementation of the Regional Trade strategy and plans, as well as the Execution and development of the regional/UK replenishment up-grading campaigns/activities. Resourceful and perceptive by nature, you will provide steadfast advice to regional Trade Marketing on local trends, needs and issues in respect of the Trade approach. The provision of local sales support with development of sales/KAM plans and the effective integration of key product launches in Trade plans and activities will also be amongst your responsibilities.
You, our client’s ideal candidate, are able to demonstrate a successful track record in marketing volume products to wholesale channels, ideally within Lighting, Consumer or Construction sectors. Your strategic and relationship building skills are second to none, and your innate ability to influence will be evidenced by your successes in supporting major sales campaigns and implementing innovative marketing solutions. You will be educated to degree level in marketing, business studies or a business management discipline. Prior experience in B2B channel marketing and/or trade marketing is highly preferred.
