The Walking Theatre Company in Argyll, working with a range of audiences including corporate and youth, are recruiting for a recent graduate for a Company Development role. The 12 month position is a great opportunity for a graduate interested in performing arts to help establish the brand of ‘Walking Theatre’ as both a national and international identity by directly marketing their products. A 50% grant towards accommodation is available.
The Walking Theatre Company in Glendaruel, Argyll offer a12 month Company Development role that a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to be involved in varies aspects of a busy and ambitious creative company. The company currently only reach approx. a quarter of their potential market and this placement will fundamentally create the capacity to implement their marketing plan and create new business.
The placement is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to work in different media's and deliver theatre to a range of audiences, including corporate, murder mysteries, youth and schools.
The role will be suited to a proactive and flexible individual and will include:

Implementation of a Marketing Strategy, including client database creation, creation of regular newsletters and updating of websites

Creation of operations strategy together with Directors

Consolidation of creative production strategy together with Directors

Product development (ie: audio plays, new media, education packs)

Creation of a funding/project Database
This position is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund.

A 50% grant towards accommodation for 12 months is available (based on a 1 bed property).
As part of the TalentScotland Graduate Placement Programme in the Highlands and Islands, the candidate will benefit from support from a team within Highlands and Islands Enterprise and also access training focussed on employability and business skills, including a five day residential course.
