Our client currently has an opportunity for a Technical Support Advisor within their team based in Felling.
The role has a wide range of technical support responsibilities that will include the provision of a comprehensive technical support service to both external and internal customers. The overall objective of the role is to ensure customers achieve optimum performance from their products, thus promoting the Company image and expertise.
You will provide ‘help desk’ and technical data services for Sales Managers, External Customers, Customer Service Desk and Technical Service Managers within the UK, while monitoring, co-ordinating and investigating complaints and claims in conjunction with the Technical Manager ensuring response targets are met. You will prepare high quality reports, specifications and bulletins and assist the Technical Manager in the organisation and delivery of training courses and the provision of field technical service visits as and when required.
Candidates should have a good level of Protective Coatings technical knowledge ideally gained in a Laboratory, technical or customer service environment. Good written and verbal skills are essential as is the ability to build effective relationships inside and outside the company. Previous experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous but not essential. Good IT and numeracy skills are a pre-requisite.
