As part of our ongoing commitment to developing bright new talent into our company a challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Consumer and Retail Services Department of the Scientific and Technical division of a major international food group. Initially this appointment will be for a period of twelve months.

The Technical Specifications area provides nutrition and labelling information, generation of raw material and final product specifications, advice to customers and a range of administrative tasks.
The Product Assurance areaÆs key responsibility is to organise customer samples on a daily basis - ordering, unpacking for presentation to panel and coordinating assessment panels. The successful candidate will also have to liaise with bakeries, commercial and technical departments, maintain sample logs and collate general bakery information.
You will be educated to AÆ level in a Science Field or an Undergraduate currently studying towards a degree within the food industry or a recent Graduate looking for the first step on the career ladder within the food industry. You must demonstrate the ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines and use own initiative whilst working as part of a team.
You must be confident, possess a flexible approach to work, have good organisational skills together with sound PC Skills. Basic knowledge of food science or the food industry would be an advantage.
