Technical Sales Executive Circa ú30k plus benefits Sheffield, Yorkshire Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist alloys for the aerospace, power and automotive sectors. They are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join the sales team. This is a challenging role, which will include the following responsibilities: To take ownership of a specified range of existing accounts both in the UK and overseas in addition to developing new business opportunities in line with the sales and marketing strategy. To establish and develop long-term sustainable relationships at all levels with strategic clients based on excellent customer service and support. To support and manage an established agent and distributor framework in overseas markets, spending approximately 25% of time out of the office. To devise and implement account marketing strategies, undertake contract negotiation and ensure contractual commitments are met by effective liaison with internal logistics, production and technical staff. To apply commercial awareness and numeracy in client dealings, demonstrating a strong appreciation of material costs and price fluctuations to achieve successful Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with key accounts. To assist in the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy, including promotional activities To contribute to the sales planning and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Of degree calibre, preferably qualified in engineering or metallurgy and with proven sales experience, ideally associated with metals production for the power, aerospace or automotive sectors. Highly entrepreneurial and numerate, with a successful track record in negotiating and winning new business. Experience in export sales and working with distributors and agents would be extremely useful. Excellent communication skills, with a flexible and resourceful approach to meeting customersÆ needs.
