The TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea) programme run by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science & Technology, invites undergraduates and graduates who are seeking to expand their multi-cultural experiences and are passionate about positively influencing Korean children as a Korean Government Scholar.
The TaLK Programme provides a unique opportunity for a first-hand experience of Korean culture and the joy of teaching English.
- Monthly allowance: 1.5 million Korean Won (approximately £800)
- Round-trip air ticket
- Personal accommodation or home stay
- One-off settlement allowance (300,000 Korean Won) and health insurance
- Opportunities for cultural experience and Korean Language acquisition
- Korean Government Scholarship Certificate
Applicants must be a citizen of a country where the primary official language is English (U.K, Ireland, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa)
Have completed two or more years of education at an accredited college or university.
* Ethnic Koreans who are in their 1st or 2nd year of college/university are eligible also.
