The Systems Engineering team is responsible for the systems level design of new products and demonstrator systems and provides essential technical support to evolving programmes.  This include research into new technologies and overall systems performance by modelling and simulation in support of design and bid activities, derivation of sign and image processing and tracking algorithms, support to implementation in hardware and software, system integration and testing and analysis of trials results.

As a Graduate Systems Engineer you will be expected to become aware of all of these activities and to participate in several of them.  In doing so you will develop analytical skills, become familiar with the tools and processes used and work as part of a team to achieve the milestones set by the numerous projects supported.  The first anticipated role is in the design and analysis of radar mode design for fast-jet radar systems.
