QIOPTIQ specialises in the design, development and manufacture of complex electro-optical systems, modules and components, such as: thermal night vision products, advanced optical modules, holography, specialised optical coatings and space components.
We now have a vacancy for an applications developer looking to move into business analysis. You must be able to work in St Asaph, North Wales, to apply for this position.
On joining the team you will pick up a number of existing applications developed using a variety of technologies (.NET, VB, Java). You will have the chance to develop these further. The projects may involve coding and testing the solution yourself, or with the assistance of external software providers.
In addition, you will liase directly with internal and external customers, analyse requirements, and design solutions. Deployment, training and support will also fall within your remit.
This is a unique, exciting position, and as such requires a self-starting team player who can maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the latest developments and techniques.
- Computer science-related degree
- Visual Basic 6

- IIS Admin
- SQL administration and development
- .NET Framework (ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML Web Services with C#)
