Our client is a world leader in the drinks industry and employs over 18,000 people in 70 countries. They have an impressive portfolio of globally recognised brands.

Their IT department plays a critical part in their UK business and provides helpdesk support services to over 300 staff across the UK. The team also manages their local data centre and associated systems.

Job Duties

As a Systems Support Analyst you will be:

  • Providing 1st & 2nd line support for IT systems
  • Logging Service calls in our IT ServiceDesk system.
  • Resolving issues logged on the IT ServiceDesk
  • Providing support of Standard Operating Environment. Windows 7, Office 2010, Office 365, Lync 2013, Checkpoint VPN. Kaspersky Antivirus
  • Providing support of Server systems when required
  • Providing Hardware Support. HP Servers, HP Desktops, Laptops, iPhones & iPads. Printers, Audio Visual Equipment
  • Undertaking the deployment of new and updated software packages using automated and manual deployment techniques
  • Undertaking other IT project management tasks as required

Qualifications & Qualities

You will have:

  • Achieved a minimum of 2.2 in a Computer related degree.
  • Desktop and server knowledge
  • Operating System knowledge (Windows 7, Windows 2008, Windows 2012)
  • Application knowledge (Exchange 2007, Microsoft UAG, Microsoft IIS Server)
  • Antivirus installation and support  knowledge
  • Networking knowledge (VPN’s, broadband, routers, switches, modems, firewalls, etc).
  • Strong team work
  • Strong planning and organising skills

You will be:

  • A clear and articulate communicator
  • Business minded

This role is moving quickly and our client is looking to interview over the next two weeks and to start someone quickly.
