Diageo have an exciting role for a graduate scientist to ensure that all brands are analysed (laboratory and data) for nutritional and allergenic purposes and this information is uploaded to DrinkIQ for all current brands and products. This 12 month placement, based in Menstrie in Clackmannanshire, will give the graduate valuable experience in a real business environment to support their development as a professional scientist.

The role

You will be supporting the Lead Project Scientist on a specific project to ensure all brands are analysed for nutritional and allergenic purposes and the information is uploaded to Diageo’s consumer facing DrinkIQ website. There will also be the opportunity to gain lab experience within this role. You will be involved in coordinating, tracking and monitoring the progress of the project and help to define a robust process for ensuring the quality of information.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, has great attention to detail and is able to bring fresh insight and challenge the status quo.

The ideal candidate will be a Graduate in a Science or Nutrition related degree-subject.
