We currently have an open position for a highly motivated self starter, to join our sales and marketing team to help us spread the word on Europe's largest selection of exciting events in advanced technology, in particular opensource technology and agile software development.
Our customers are passionate, advanced software developers, architects, project leads and managers from various sectors, including Finance, Media, Telecoms and IT.
Our team is dynamic, fun and solution focused - we always make sure our customers' needs are what counts - and we work hard to meet their needs.
As a sales executive, your main task will be to call and inform our community of over 15,000 passionate technologists about some 500+ exciting events per annum. All our conferences, events and courses are presented and led by leading industry experts, who are active contributors to the Open Source and Agile communities and popular international speakers in their field. Their unrivalled expertise and hands-on development experience has proven invaluable to our customers. So as part of our team, your main job is to make sure our community doesn't miss out on any opportunity to learn from, and meet these experts!
Your main activities will include:
*Conduct targeted sales campaigns, by phone and social media marketing.
*Assist with any inquiries, questions and send information, follow up and close
* Attend seminars, conferences and other events as required You will be fully supported by the Sales Team account managers to help ensure that you can build the skills required to become successful at your job and progress your sales career in due course.
