We currently have an open position for a highly motivated self starter, to join our sales and marketing team to help our clients obtain real skills, taught by real experts, through the provision of cutting edge courses and conferences.

The Job

As a member of our direct sales team, your main task is to contact and inform our community of over 23,000 passionate technologists about some 750 plus exciting events each year. All events (expert-led courses, conferences and seminars) are presented by leading industry experts, who are active contributors to the Open Source and Agile communities and popular international speakers in their field. Their innovative ideas and technologies, unrivalled expertise and hands-on development experience has proven invaluable to our customers.

Our customers are passionate, advanced software developers, architects, project leads and managers from various sectors, including investment banks, online gaming and betting, media, telecom and IT.

Our team is dynamic, fun and solution focused - we always make sure our customer's needs are clearly understood and we enjoy working hard to meet these needs.

So as part of our team, your main job is to make sure members of our community don't miss out on any opportunity to obtain new skills that help them produce better software and benefit from the wealth of experience our experts bring.

Main activities

Through the attendance of events, regular contact by phone and social media networks, you will develop relationships with members of our community and gain an understanding of their individual requirements and how to provide assistance. As such you will

  • Conduct targeted calling campaigns to inform our community about upcoming events that are of interest to them
  • Answer customer queries and provide advise on training solutions that provide the skills they need
  • Help design learning programmes that help our clients achieve their strategic IT objectives.
