Our client specialises in providing commercial vehicle contract hire and fleet management solutions.
They now have an incredible opportunity for a hard working, passionate and customer-orientated individual to join them as a Business Development Executive, selling contract hire, fleet management, leasing packages and Telematics to both new and existing clients. This is an exciting time to join the company – they have shown tremendous growth in recent years and can offer the successful candidate the chance to play an integral part in continuing this growth.
You will exude natural warmth and charm combined with a raw commercial awareness enabling you to successfully manage existing accounts and crucially win new business. You will undertake appropriate research to gain an in depth insight into your current clients’ industries / market sectors; you must successfully secure their loyalty via regular contact and client meetings, always striving to exceed set targets. Sourcing lucrative new business is another key feature of the position and being naturally pro-active and a real people person, will serve to ignite your instinctive sales ability.
The successful candidate may not have previous experience in a sales role but they will demonstrate personal or professional success and a well-honed ability to achieve or exceed business targets or personal ambition. Other essential competencies include a proven passion for customer care, along with outstanding people and organisational skills. You must be experienced in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and have a good standard of general education.
