resourcing is a niche headhunting agency, which specialises in the retail & pharmaceutical sectors. Our company name was derived purely because resourcing is what we do. This is not an environment for the pretentious, we are renowned for delivering high quality recruitment services, providing recruitment solutions & enjoying our work in the process. Due to success & expansion we are looking to recruit 2 trainee consultants.
Retained by our clients, our focus is to proactively recruit people who will have a direct impact on sales & profitability. We find people for jobs as opposed to jobs for people. Our operating ethos is that the best people are too focused & too motivated to actively seek a job move. As a result they don’t actively look or apply for roles. However a significant proportion of these people will consider a job move if approached by a professional search firm. To do this we have evolved hybrid systems & processes to enable us to deliver great candidates fast. Our clients receive highly capable people who in turn join companies they aspire to work for.
Headhunting is a people focused business so on a day-to-day basis you will be forging productive & enduring relationships. To help & influence people to make important career or hiring decisions you will have to develop an accurate assessment & understanding of both candidates & clients alike. More strategically you will be analysing words & data & assisting in delivering multiple recruitment assignments.
During the first 6 months you will be taught a plethora of new skills through our structured training programme, which covers the 11 key modules of a consultants role. This is delivered in one to one training sessions & backed up with role-plays, shadowing, on job training, coaching sessions & plenty of support.
Initially supporting an experienced consultant you will perform the role of a researcher. Developing the skills to discover, question, understand & attract candidates whilst building knowledge of our industries & those who work in them. Once a new skill is mastered you will be given a greater level of autonomy, which will quickly result in contributing to assignments from beginning to end with a good level of client contact.
There is a structured career path that continues well beyond the initial months & years as we look to fill the roles of people who have progressed within the company.
We are looking for articulate & confident graduates with a 2.1 or above who can demonstrate from work & or University that they have high achievement drive, a good understanding of people, a positive attitude & advanced analysis & problem solving skills.
