Your responsibilities will include: 

Ø Researching and collating information, either by telephone or in face-to-face meetings with key contacts in the industry. You will examine key events and commercial developments in assets, markets and companies within the energy sector.

Ø Reviewing, prioritising and analysing the data and information, and using it to produce quantitative analyses and qualitative reviews of the highest quality.

Ø Drawing upon your expertise to make a real contribution to the development and production of the energy subscription products for Russia and the greater Caspian region. Your work will focus on different countries and issues each quarter, giving you real scope to demonstrate your expertise.

Ø Making a real and valid contribution to the team with your ideas, enthusiasm and commitment to excellence.

To succeed in this role you'll need:

Ø A good degree in a relevant discipline.

Ø An in-depth understanding of the upstream sector, preferably gained from 2+ years' industry experience (or a relevant secondment or placement)

Ø Superb problem solving and analytical skills.

Ø Fluent Russian language skills would be an advantage

Ø The ability to see the big picture and understand which information matters.

Ø An understanding of the needs and expectations of our clients and the ability and willingness to meet these expectations.

Ø Superb communication skills coupled with the confidence and presentation skills necessary to present your findings to senior clients and staff.

Ø The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to make a real contribution.

Ø Excellent organisation and planning skills and the ability to manage your own workload when working independently.

Ø A serious commitment to excellence and meeting the standards which we pride ourselves on.
