My client is the leading Investment Banking and Financial Services IT recruitment company in London with a turnover in excess of £50 million. Based in the City, the company provides a full range of recruitment services from contingency to executive search and temporary staff to a select number of the world’s leading Investment Banks and Financial Services companies within Britain and Europe. The company also has offices in Dublin and Stockholm with further plans to expand into New York, Singapore and Sydney.
In 2005 they were acknowledged as the leading supplier of permanent and contract staff to the following clients:
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, Barclays Capital, Royal Bank of Scotland, Lehman Brothers and BNP Paribas

The Investment Banking IT Permanent Development division is responsible for providing the majority of my client’s permanent revenue (£2.6m in 2005). It is a successful team run along meritocratic lines where talented individuals are given a clearly defined career path and the opportunity to prosper at a pace that suits the individual rather than the company. The division places individuals within the following salary boundaries £40,000 - £500,000. Search assignments are performed occasionally, accounting for 5% of revenue per annum. The team has established a reputation for low attrition and 90% of its members had no previous recruitment experience before joining.
They take training very seriously. It is classroom based and covers the following areas: Investment banking inc. products Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives; Information Technology inc. Java, C++, C#, UNIX, NT; Headhunting and Mapping; Competency-based interviewing; Recruitment Process and Candidate Management.
They are seeking either graduates or individuals with commercial experience gained within either IT, Finance, Media, Publishing or related industry sectors looking for a rewarding career. It has a variety of openings for junior/graduate level entry within its Investment Banking IT division.
Successful applicants will possess an abundance of creativity and determination. They will be bright and articulate self-starters looking for a long-term career.
