*…have a background in non-retail sales, ideally commission only or customer service (based in an outbound call-centre).
*They will have a variety of interpersonal and organisational skills, which can be transferred over to the role of a Recruitment Consultant.
The Role –
As a Recruitment Consultant you will be expected to cold call Candidates and Clients selling the Company, yourself, the Client and Candidates. You will have to overcome objections and be confident in negotiating with Directors and Senior Managers.
Recruitment Consultants source job positions, then source candidates, sell the candidates to the Directors arrange the interviews and close both the candidate and the client in order to be successful in filling the post. Our client offers comprehensive training and continuous support throughout your career.
Earning potential –
The salary package offers a £17,000 - £25,000 basic with uncapped commission available and achievable earnings of £35,000 in your first year in recruitment. Consultants, employed by our Client, with 1yrs experience, on average, are earning £100,000 – the top consultant is currently earning in the region of £20,000 per month.
The IT Recruitment industry is buoyant and highly competitive, therefore, it is possible for you to earn £150K+, but to achieve this you have to be tenacious and be confident in overcoming objections and closing sales. They also offer career development, target incentives including company cars and trips abroad.
