The RAF is seeking intelligent, ambitious graduates to join our worldwide team.
Weapon Systems Officers play a crucial role on our aircraft. Jets, helicopters and larger aircraft all carry sophisticated weapons technology and navigational equipment – pilots and other aircrew will rely on you to operate them.
After your initial training, your skills and the RAF’s needs will decide which kind of aircraft you’ll fly in. Following more advanced training, you’ll could work on fast-jet, multi-engine aircraft or helicopters, and train for your first tour of duty.
You’ll need to be determined, reliable and ready for a challenge. Whether you’re in the back seat of a fast jet finding targets, hunting submarines from a Nimrod, or coordinating air-to-sea helicopter rescue missions, you can look forward to exciting times
The RAF offers more than just a job; it offers an active, exciting lifestyle. Our primary mission is to defend our country, but we’re also called upon for countless other tasks, from Search and Rescue missions across the UK to supporting disaster relief operations all over the world.
