Quality Systems Engineer Leeds, West Yorkshire úExcellent Salary + Benefits Our client, part of a larger company, provides for the treatment of the musculoskeletal system with products that include joint implants, trauma devices and biologic products. As Quality Systems Engineer, you will work across all parts of the company in particular Quality, Engineering, Operations and R&D and with suppliers. Your will liase at all levels of the management team, engineers and shop floor staff and be involved with various team initiatives. Responsibilities of the role will include: contributing to new product development; compiling and executing validation protocols for new product/processes and software and producing automated verification solutions. You will produce and maintain appropriate and comprehensive quality process specifications, which will involve developing and utilising DFMEA/PFMEA and other QA risk analysis techniques. Day to day you will ensure compliance with all Documented Quality systems, FDA QSRÆs and ISO 9001 requirements and assigned audit/CAPA activities. The successful candidate will have an HNC or equivalent in an engineering subject, or similar, to support functional tasks and, ideally, at least five years experience within an engineering environment. Internal / External audit experience is required, along with excellent presentation skills. Self-motivated and self disciplined, you will have the ability to work unsupervised, and equally as well as part of a team. You will have excellent organisation and coaching skills, and as such you must be an excellent communicator at all levels with good influencing / negotiation skills. A professional approach, when dealing with internal, corporate, regulatory or supplier representatives is also required.
