Our client, part of a larger company, provides for the treatment the musculo-skeletal system with products that include joint implants, trauma devices and biologic products. They are a world leader in the orthopaedic market and have seen outstanding growth internationally. This is a great opportunity to gain both product and business knowledge. This role provides exposure to many different aspects and areas of the business. Reporting to the Manufacturing Planning Manager the job involves primary contact with Group Leaders and Team Leaders, along with Operations Managers. Your main responsibilities will include: Planning to achieve Plant targets for Customer Service, Inventory & schedule attainment by control and management of Work in Progress (WIP). Support creation of Master Production Schedule and agree and execute schedule at code level with business partners (Manufacturing and Purchasing). Lead and support system and process improvement programs where appropriate. You will preferably be educated to degree level, or possess 1 û 2 years experience in a batch production environment. You should be able to master complex and challenging processes and have effective communication up and down the Organisation. Some understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Inventory Management principles are preferred but not essential. Training for this position will be provided.
