Production Engineer / Graduate Engineer / Process Engineer / Chemical Engineer

£Competitive Salary plus compensation and benefits package

Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Our client is a global producer of alkyl phenols, electronic chemicals, and phenolic resins. Their products are used to make automotive components, adhesives, plastics, photo-imaging products, paints and other specialty coatings.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer/ Graduate Engineer, to join their company. The production engineer’s role is to ensure that the technical performance of the process plant meets the agreed production plans in a safe and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the production shift teams, maintenance teams and commercial teams will be required to establish effective plans to enhance the company’s performance by planning, delivering and maintaining a plan of continuous improvement.

To be successful within this role you must be educated to degree level or equivalent in Chemical or Process Engineering. Previous Production experience in a manufacturing role within the process industries is an advantage. The ideal applicant should have good interpersonal skills and must be IT literate. They are looking for a candidate who can work well using their initiative and in a team-based environment.
