An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Policy Advisers to work on employment issues - one of the CBI’s highest profile policy areas. Both roles will involve research and policy analysis, dealing with the media, and influencing and lobbying policy-makers. We work with companies of all sizes – from major multinationals to dynamic small firms.
The HR Policy Directorate is responsible for all CBI research and policy on labour market, pay, employee relations, employment legislation, flexible working and equality issues.
Successful candidates, educated to degree/postgraduate level, will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in public policy and possess excellent analytic and research skills. They should be good communicators, both orally and in writing and be able to present complex issues in a logical, straightforward manner.
Relevant work experience and knowledge of employment issues would be an advantage.
Salary package: Policy Adviser £23,500 to £31,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits
