Outreach Ltd has an aim to increase its presence in the UK by developing a range of plastic, fabricated vehicle mounted bodies in Scotland, which can potentially be exported throughout Europe using the associated dealer network through its long standing relationship with Palfinger.
Our target is to achieve between 30 – 40% market share of plastic bodies built in the UK, thus contributing to our goals to increase turnover and increase employment in our Company and our associates. Our second aim is to expand on this opportunity through our European partners.
Role Description:- The Trainee Design Engineer will utilise SolidWorks 2012 3D design software to initially produce Sales support material for promotion of the new products for vehicle mounted applications.
Thereafter, using the same 3D design software, the role involves the preparation of manufacturing detail drawings in accordance with relevant standards and compliant to UK legislative requirements. Training will be provided in this respect.
During manufacture of prototypes and subsequent order requirements, it will be the function of the successful candidate to project manage the quality and delivery requirements of the manufacturing subcontractor to the complete satisfaction of our Customers.
