Our client is one of the largest equipment non-operated equipment rental companies, with a network of over 200 depots across the UK and over 2000 employees. They offer a vast rage of equipment for customers to hire – from large plant such as excavators, dumpers and lifting equipment, smaller equipment such as electrical tools and specialist products including accommodation units and rail equipment.
They operate a unique Operations Management Training Scheme, which gives all participants the opportunity to gain experience in various departments before a specialist area is chosen. The company firmly believes in the principle of ‘learning by doing’ and the majority of the training will take place doing the job for real. Successful applicants on the scheme will have the opportunity to progress into various positions across the business, from Operational Managers, Directors and Sales Managers, to opportunities in central functions such as Marketing, IT, Finance and HR.
Each candidate will be provided with a Sponsor Manager, who will be responsible for your coaching. The scheme is designed to give individuals a structured development plan and a mentor to enable you to progress within the company and realise your career ambitions.
You will need to be fully mobile, as opportunities could be based at any one of our client’s locations across the UK. To be successful you will be a high achiever with at least a 2.2 in a discipline such as business studies, management or any construction related subject.
