The Operations Accelerate Programme The Operations Management Programme is designed to develop: - An understanding of Gist and our values - Operations skills and knowledge - Business skills - Managerial skills The programme consists of at least 3 placements, during which you will gain exposure to: - Warehouse operations - Transport operations - Project work - Enabling functions Being part of the operations stream will involve you managing teams of people and helping them towards achievement of real business targets. To ensure you gain a broad understanding of our business you will work at a number of our UK sites during your programme. Full mobility is therefore essential. What are we looking for? In order to grow the business and remain competitive Gist looks for individuals with drive and passion who can motivate and inspire others. You will have enthusiasm, tenacity and ambition. We will provide you with comprehensive training and support to ensure you make a difference quickly. The Future Once you have completed your training you will move into a Shift Manager position, with all the responsibilities that entails. We will continue to develop your capability to aid your progress to a senior management position. Position to start summer 2005
