·         The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative, but be able to manage their time effectively to ensure that all timelines are met and are within budgets outlined.

Role Description

This role is to raise the profile of our products and services which in turn will assist in the increase of Sales revenue and Company awareness. The job role will look at creating an overall Strategic Marketing Plan for Murray Hogarth including the design, implementation and delivery of marketing campaigns which will increase traffic to the website and social networking channels, encourage enquiries from new and repeat customers, and generally work towards opening up new channels for Murray Hogarth. Success will be determined by the increase in sales turnover, brand awareness and recognition through the number of repeat customers, but also new customers, new markets, articles within trade press and national/international press etc.

Description of the role and responsibilites:

·         Develop and implement creative marketing strategies that support the company’s brand

·         Maintain, develop and monitor traffic through the company website and social media channels, intranet maintenance for marketing: upload varied content as required

·         Liaise with external agencies and online marketing suppliers

·         Manage copy writing, proofing and printing of marketing materials

·         Achieve positive media coverage across all available media including social media

·         Contact market research to identify requirements for current and future opportunities

·         Develop and deliver comprehensive marketing plans for new sectors and prospective markets both within the UK and overseas

·         Analyse and interpret information to adapt and update the marketing strategy

·         Conduct market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups

·         Maintaining and updating customer databases

·         Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers

·         Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press – local, regional, national and specialist publications – or on the radio

Skills / Experience

Essential

·         Good copy writing skills, creative and passionate

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Strong knowledge and experience of IT, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Good knowledge or understanding of website maintenance

·         Incredibly organised and motivated individual with a genuine desire to manage tasks for long term efficiency

·         Able to prioritise and ensure that regular jobs are completed on time as well as working on and completing ad hoc projects to deadline and budget

·         Willing to be a steady and reliable member of a fun but very busy office

·         Willing to join in with whatever is required and complete all tasks with a good, can-do attitude, paying attention to detail and high quality standards is advantageous

Qualifications

-          Any degree - preferably in Business, Marketing or PR.
