They are currently offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Medical Services Executive to grow and develop within their Medical Affairs Department. Reporting into the Medical Services Manager, this role is a central part of a front-line medical information service for licenced and development products to external and internal customers in line with the ABPI Code of Practice.

The main purpose of this role is to provide balanced, substantiated and relevant information about all products on request to medical and pharmaceutical professionals, external bodies and members of the public. Within this role your main responsibilities will include dealing with and logging all telephone calls, emails, faxes and written requests and answering product enquiries. You will also be expected to understand and use relevant databases in order to design and conduct literature searches, develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and other legal guidelines and handle technical complaints as required. It will be important to maintain and develop your knowledge and expertise by attendance at internal and external courses as appropriate.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or equivalent or will have a medical related qualification and relevant work experience (e.g. – nursing). It is essential that you have well developed interpersonal skills and that you are clear, concise and confident in your communication, both written and verbal. You must be computer literate and have a proactive mindset with a ‘making things happen’ attitude. It is essential that you have the ability to work as part of a team but that you can also work alone with minimal supervision.
