Materials Engineer – Graduate Role
Leeds, West Yorkshire
£23,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

Our client provides treatment of the musculoskeletal system with products that include joint implants, trauma devices and biological products.

Due to continuing expansion, they now require an organised and motivated Materials Engineer who will focus on supporting materials testing and the evaluation of products manufactured by the critical fabrication processes. Also key to this role is providing support to the production units in project and problem solving and producing detailed and accurate documentation to ensure regulatory compliance is met.

To be successful in this role you must have a degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science or a related subject, and a proven ability in conducting full project planning. Your first-rate communication skills will ensure you work effectively with all groups (managers, peers and customers). Instinctively, you will challenge the status quo, bringing the most innovative solutions to the manufacturing facility. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a real team player, with a proven background of project team experience within an educational or industrial environment. It would be a distinct advantage to have experience of working in a laboratory environment.

The role could lead to multiple opportunities for the right candidate.
