Our client is the leading supplier of private label household and personal care products for Europe's largest and successful retailers.
Key within this role is to project manage the product launch process, fully supporting the National Account Manager.
Regular contact with internal and account customers is key to ensuring that timescales are being adhered to on project launch projects. You will analyse costings and be responsible for communicating changes in product launches that affect stock availability. With support, you will undertake all new product development initiatives including marketing analysis, range reviews and presentations. You will present ideas on NPD and report on account performance from data whilst monitoring competitor promotional activity that may affect accounts. You will be responsible for attending and managing product launch meetings, agreeing key timescales and tasks to ensure key dates are met. Attendance at pre-artwork and design meetings is essential along with 1st print and production runs to ensure compliance to company standards.
Candidates for this role should ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in Marketing or a Business related subject with a background in a FMCG / sales / marketing environment. Good PC skills and the ability to remain calm whilst working in a multi task environment is essential coupled with the confidence and tenacity to deal with resistance. You must hold a full clean driving licence as travelling will be required on occasion.
