Marketing Data Analyst

Our client is a global marketer and distributor of electronic, electrical and MRO products. They offer customers a multi-channel choice for over 250,000 stocked products, providing a comprehensive range of value-added services and tailored solutions to support their customer’s business needs.
They are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join the Europe & Asia Pacific Business Analysis Team to produce visible commercial value and direction via analysis of various complex data sources.
Your duties will involve identifying and communicating the commercial benefits of marketing & product analysis to the business, ensuring the acceptance and application of these models by end users. You will follow through with the development of models; report these periodically to the business as required and provide advice to the business regarding data issues and complex data areas
To be successful in this role you must have be an advanced user of Access and Excel, with a 3-5 years working knowledge of both programs. A minimum of 3 years database experience is also required, with an understanding of SQL desirable, but not essential. At least 2 years minimum marketing analysis experience, you will be able to demonstrate your experience of commercial thinking and application to business benefit.
You must be educated to degree level standard or equivalent, however qualifications may be substituted by experience. Good communication skills (internal & external) and attention to detail are essential.
