Marketing Communications Officer
Salary: £23,062 p.a.
Our client is a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire. Their core purpose is to provide good quality affordable homes to rent.
They are now recruiting a Communications Officer to join their central communications team based at their York office. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and preferably with a communications qualification, you should have experience of working in a similar role.
You should be able to demonstrate, through your portfolio, your copywriting and press writing skills, together with your ability to source, research and write a range of communication materials for a variety of audiences. You should be experienced in both intranet and website communication and should be able to liaise with stakeholders.
This is a job for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills who can show confidence and professionalism in all areas of their work and has the ability to come up with new and fresh ideas.
Although the post is York based there will be travel to all areas of Yorkshire covered by the company’s operations. A full driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.
