An international academic publisher, based in Oxfordshire, is looking to recruit a Marketing Co-ordinator to work on Education and Science & Technical journals.
The Marketing Co-ordinator will be responsible for a small list of titles where they will undertake the complete marketing process from planning to implementation. This will include the production of leaflets, list research, advertising, international conference attendance, e-marketing and meeting attendance. They will also support the activities of other members of the team in the areas above on their particular titles.
The Marketing Co-ordinator will liaise regularly with journal editors, society members and other academics and therefore will need to research the issues surrounding the subject area and maintain awareness of competitor activity.
The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate or equivalent with a qualification in either marketing or publishing, or a subject related to education or science. Experience within a marketing environment would be an advantage. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and good organisation and time-management skills.
