Our client consists of 350 employees working across 5 divisions and locations in the UK. They have an extensive product range including: steels, fine steels, tubular products, non-ferrous metals and plastics coupled with extensive processing and fabrication facilities to provide a one-stop shop solution.
They are currently seeking an ambitious enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join their busy team based in Birmingham, West Midlands. The suitable candidate would be expected to fulfil a variety of marketing tasks with a view to ultimately gaining the experience to work as a marketing co-ordinator carrying out all marketing activities according to the marketing plan.
Initially you will be responsible for supporting the marketing function by performing administrative tasks while undergoing training, you will be expected to quickly improve your understanding of the function and take on more advanced roles.
Our client is looking for a candidate with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy under deadline pressure; an excellent communicator both written and verbally, and confident when dealing with people at all levels. The candidate must have knowledge or have previously worked within a Marketing Support role and have excellent IT skills with particular focus on Microsoft applications. Knowledge of design software would be a plus.
