MARKETING ASSISTANT Sheffield úCompetitive Salary Employing circa 280 people, our client is based at Handsworth in Sheffield and has won many industry awards. Their modern production facility, which houses the latest equipment and systems available for their product type, manufactures a wide variety of traditional and innovatively flavoured sausages, a product which has moved distinctly upmarket in recent years taking the category into significant growth. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious individual to prepare the analysis of market data, category reviews, range autopsies and gap analysis for the chilled and frozen sausage market. Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will assist in the sourcing and analysis of market information of nominated key projects consistent with the company strategic goals. You will ensure the maintenance of departmental databases, develop and maintain a product guard book, participate in nominated events for customers and carry out regular price and promotional reviews of the chilled and frozen sausage market within grocery retail. Educated to degree level you must have a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and have experience of FMCG û preferably food. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to use their own initiative, a high degree of accuracy, and meeting deadlines to be able to provide regular and timely analysis and data. Excellent verbal and written skills are also essential.
