Job Description

The Trodat group encompasses more than thirty international subsidiaries, with more than 1,000 employees worldwide. The international Trodat Group’s turnover for 2011 was €137.1 million. The company is the world's market leader in self-inking stamps and dominating engraving, marking, and cutting in the laser area with Trotec.

The Marketing Assistant will be a significant member of the team and will focus on increasing sales and offering creative solutions to help drive online traffic to websites and to ensure that customers have the most up to date and accurate information, enabling them to promote and sell our products. The project will be measured on the successful completion of up to date and accurate product information and database.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistant role will include the following:

  • Product maintenance
  • Updating and maintenance of database, including online catalogues
  • Working as part of the marketing team to ensure full implementation of the marketing plan
  • Support to Marketing Manager/Sales Team

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate information to our customers
  • Ensure product information is up-to-date
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the online product database
  • Ensure accuracy of the online catalogues
  • Working as part of the Marketing Team to ensure the full implementation of the marketing plan
  • Support to the Marketing Manager/Sales Team.

 

Skills/Experience

Essential

  • Marketing degree (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office/strong IT skills
  • Highly numerate with good analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work unsupervised, be confident and assertive, pro-active, well organised and be able to manage your time effectively

 

Ideal

  • Driving License and own transport
  • Business 2 Business experience.

 

Qualifications

Marketing degree (or equivalent)
