Our client is the UK's leading manufacturer of surface water drainage, sewerage, cable protection systems and water management solutions, serving the utilities, construction, civil engineering, agricultural and sports and leisure markets.
They are currently looking for an ambitious individual looking to take the first step into a career in Marketing. Working as a Marketing Assistant you will create product literature and technical manuals, proof read brochures prior to sign off and manage the company website. You will also be required to undertake literature stock checks and order re-prints when necessary, liase with PR agencies regarding press releases and update and maintain systems, providing effective administration support to the team.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a Marketing or Business related subject. Candidates must have good computer skills, preferably with experience of using Quark and Photoshop, although this is not essential. A self-motivated and highly organised individual you will have the ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment and you will be confident when dealing with people at all levels within the business. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
