Management Training and Development Opportunities (graduates in Production, Engineering, Manufacturing etc)

£20,000 to £24,000 dependent on experience

Scunthopre (Commutable from Yorkshire, Doncaster, Sheffield, Grimsby etc) and Teeside (North East)

Typical responsibilities will include:

Project work as detailed by the Departmental Management

Ensuring all statutory and mandatory safety, health and environmental standards are implemented and applied within area(s) of responsibility

Liaising with all engineering / production teams to assist in the control of the maintenance strategy, including routine, down day, stop period and capital activities, for area of control.

Ensuring all product quality and / or technical objectives are achieved.

Ensuring safety and environmental standards and targets are met and maintained within business, company and legislative requirements.

Identifying areas for operational and financial improvements and facilitate their introduction & development.

Liaising with the engineering / production teams to identify long-term strategies to improve the business opportunities in product, process and customer support activities.

Candidates will be team orientated and be able to demonstrate their desire to train and develop and learn new skills. You will have the ability to deliver tangible results to the business and not be afraid to “get your hands dirty”.

Problem solving, influencing and excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite

You will either hold a relevant degree in a Production, Engineering or Science based subject, or a HNC/HND in something similar.

We would also like to see applications from candidates with A levels or equivalent and relevant work experience in a manufacturing, technical or engineering role.
