Management Trainee

Glasgow

£Competitive Salary

Our client is a pan-European pharmaceutical company and in the UK, they have a distribution network of 13 depots from which pharmaceutical products are delivered on a daily basis to independent pharmacies and dispensing practices.

As a result of the continuing growth of our client, the Company is looking to recruit a Management Trainee within their Glasgow Depot.

The training programme for this role is designed to provide the trainee with a broad range of skills by working within many departments, such as operations, logistics, IT, sales and customer service. The trainee will receive the majority of their training in the Wrexham depot however a small percentage of the training will need to take place at our Head Office in Runcorn.

Training will consist of both hands-on guidance and formal training. The training period is expected to last approximately 18 months, at which time you shall need to consider which areas of the business that you are most suited to, although this shall also be dependent on the availability of suitable positions within the Company at that time.

The ideal applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent, however consideration will be given to other applicants who have a good educational background. With excellent communication skills both verbal and written, you will be confident when conversing with people at all levels. You will have strong problem solving skills and be able to adapt to new situations and circumstances. The ideal candidate will have the potential to stand out as a leader with management aspirations

During the training you will occasionally be required to work at their other locations throughout the UK, therefore a driving licence is essential for this role.

Promotional prospects are good for the hard-working and self-motivated, especially for those who are willing to transfer to other locations throughout the UK, where more vacancies may be available.

Location: Scotland
