Job summary

Managed Response Marketing Ltd has a 12 month placement for a graduate fluent in an EU foreign language to become an integral part of the account management team. The placement will be based in Alloa.

Job Description

As the first point or contact for our customers you will be the face and voice of our business and will play a front line role in achieving our sales plan. You will be responsible for managing our existing international accounts and marketing our services to new prospects in European markets.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to manage multiple clients and orders. You will also need to be assertive in negotiations and adept at solving problems.

Using your foreign language skills you will create marketing and sales plans for our international prospects and will need determination and enthusiasm to arrange meetings, conduct presentations and close deals.

Key Responsibilities

·         Manage clients (sales representative or end user – salon or bar) queries, issues and problems in an effective, timely and polite manner

·         Build up relationships with clients to encourage repeat custom and solve problems without creating conflict

·         To provide an effective, timely, polite and professional service to the client at all times

·         Calculate pricing for particular jobs which meet the MRM margin requirements

·         Negotiate on all outsourced goods to ensure we get the best possible rates from suppliers

·         Always be actively promoting MRM products and services to key customer contacts. You should recognise and take advantage of opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell

·         Build a network of contacts within the client base and endeavour to learn more about the customers business and industry

·         Have a detailed working knowledge of how our websites operate so that you can assist any of our clients with any issues relating to the use of our websites

·         Provide general administration support to Account Managers & Account Directors within your team. You are responsible for the financial performance of your accounts

·         Accountable for managing all projects through the production process from briefing creative work through to the completed product within project deadlines

·         Creation of marketing plans and sales strategies for acquring new clients in European markets.

Skills / Experience


·         Great communication skills

·         Strong organisational skills

·         Knowledge and/or Experience of dealing with customers

·         Fluency in a foreign language (preferably Spanish, French or Italian)

·         A keen interest in digital marketing.


·         Any degree, preferably in business/International business or marketing/international marketing


·         Training and personal development will be provided

·         Conversion to a permanent role post is possible

Additional Info

Location: We are based in the Alloa Business Park which is 5 minutes walk from Alloa Train Station (10 mins from Stirling and 60 mins from Glasgow). Car pooling options are also available from Glasgow, Dundee and Stirling.

Duration: This is a 12 month placement with the potential to convert to a permanent position

Preferred placement start date: 10 December 2012.
