Laboratory Analyst (Days Shift) – 6 month contract

Middlesbrough

Salary: £19,411 pro rata

Based at the Wilton International site on Teesside part of our client, a Singapore-based global energy, water and marine group, they are a major supplier of industrial utilities to large international companies in key manufacturing sectors including chemicals and bio-fuels. 

 

They have a temporary vacancy at their Wilton laboratory for a laboratory analyst (Days Shift). This is a 6 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

 

Main duties include:

 

·         Provide testing and analysis including stack emissions to required MCERT and UKAS standards.

·         Check, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

·         Technical support for internal emergency service.

 

Required qualification to A level/ONC level or equivalent and you will hold MCERT Level 1 with industrial analytical experience. 

 

The successful candidate will be accurate and methodical with good problem solving skills, good health safety and environment awareness and work flexibly within a team.
