Our client is fully committed to revolutionising sports retailing and ensuring that they are the most talked about retail brand of the future. To achieve this success, they are working in partnership with retailers to develop Trade Marketing programmes, which support the retailers’ objectives and drive consumers to purchase.
An opportunity now exists for a Key Account Merchandiser to support the marketing team implementing account activity and ensuring compliance and consistency at store level.
Working closely with retailers, you'll use a variety of concepts and marketing tools to build our clients brand image and drive through sales. You’ll also develop and review training presentations, to update and educate retail staff on key products and raise our client’s profile in store.
Practical and hands-on with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll liase with Store Managers and staff to make improvements and recommendations on brand presence in store, find the best merchandising solutions and ensure that our clients products are easily visible and accessible for customers. You should use your relationships at store level to gain fast feedback on current activity.
Educated to degree level with either sales or marketing experience, you’ll have a good understanding of sports or fashion retail, and a real passion for the brand. Self-motivated, energetic and driven by deadlines, you’ll thrive on managing multiple tasks, organising your own workload and achieving optimum coverage of your call file to ensure that all marketing activity is completed in a timely and professional manner.
In this field based role, you will be prepared to travel extensively, so a Full UK Driving licence is essential, as is an energetic and self-motivated approach.
