IT Support Technician / Trainee Consultant – Graduate Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent bright graduate to establish themselves in a challenging and rewarding IT career. We are looking for individuals with the potential to grow and develop into Consultant roles.

Working onsite with 40 users you will be required to provide user support and trouble shooting in a Windows 2003 environment. You will also be required to edit business reports. Cognos experience would be an advantage but is not necessary, as training will be provided. You will also be required to support the business systems, again hands on training on these will be provided however experience of supporting business systems would be an advantage.

You should have Windows 2003 and good network support skills. Lotus Notes experience would also be an advantage. You will ideally hold a relevant degree or equivalent and MCSA. You must be a self-starter, demonstrate a track record of sound problem solving and pick up new skills and technologies quickly. You will also have good MS Office support skills excellent customer service and communication skills.

You will be supported in the development of your skills and technical accreditations and will be expected to progress these as part of your career progression.

A driving license is essential, as you will be required to drive to additional sites. You must also be able to provide 24-hour cover on a rota basis. You will be paid an additional disturbance allowance for the cover.
